Math Unlocked is a mathematical tutoring service owned and operated by Joan Spiers.
About Joan:
I worked for 14 years as a Reliability Engineer in the Aerospace industry for companies that contracted with NASA and the US Military.
I retired from Engineering to concentrate on raising my children. During this time I volunteered at my children’s schools tutoring math where I found that my services were in such demand that I started my own tutoring business.
This led to the small private high school that my daughter attended recruiting me to teach math and science full time. Over a six year period I taught Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Analytical Physics and Conceptual Physics.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
